Burgundy Tour From Paris

After a 3-hour drive from Paris, you will arrive in the medieval town of Vézelay famous for its Romanesque basilica, classified as a Unesco World Heritage Site. With your private driver, you will visit this monument  where Saint Bernard preached the second crusade in 1146. After that you will visit the garden behind the basilica where you will enjoy the marvelous view over the morvan’s region.

You will visit also Beaune, a small city surrounded by the world-renowned vineyards . Once you have arrived, you will start a wine tour with the visit of The Caves Patriarche. A local guide will
show you the vaulted cellars from the 13th and 14th century, explaining the work done there. This visit ends with a  wine tasting.

You may also want to visit the most beautiful building of Beaune: l’Hôtel-Dieu, also called Hospices de Beaune. This hospital was founded in the mid-15th century by Nicolas Rolin to cure the poor people of the city.

If you have time closed to Beaune , you can visit Chablis, famous for its white wine made of chardonnay.
